Problem Solving with Students
Around Challenging Behaviors
Molly France, Director of Early Childhood Education and Two Rivers Learning Institute Faculty Member
Ayawnie Wingate, Teacher Fellow and Two Rivers Learning Institute Faculty Member
Looking for strategies for how best to work with students who demonstrate challenging behaviors? At Two Rivers we have adapted the work of Ross Greene and his Collaborative and Proactive Solutions into a four-step strategy for working collaboratively with students to develop the skills of empathetic listening and productive problem-solving. Join us for this 4 session virtual course where we will unpack the strategy and support you in implementing it with your students. While these strategies have always been crucial to helping students with lagging skills, special attention will be paid to the return to in-person schooling through the Covid-19 pandemic and responding to children in trauma-informed ways to help them process the constant changes in their lives.
This course will meet from 7:00 PM to 8:30PM EST on Thursdays on the following dates:
March 3, March 17, March 31, and April 21
Cost: $200 ($175 per person if registering two or more people from the same institution)
